Personal Highlights:
I am Daniel Regan, PhD, PA-C and I’m currently on staff at UNC Rex Heart & Vascular Hospital in Raleigh, NC in the department of cardiothoracic surgery. I participate in complex cardiac surgical procedures daily, provide care for post-op patients in the ICU and step-down units. My former position was as a PA-C in cardiothoracic surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. I started my professional life as an EMT-B and eventually paramedic in the Chicagoland area. I worked in both fire department and hospital-based EMS and am a graduate of the critical care paramedic course. I reside in Holly Springs, NC with my wife and daughters.
